Ms. Perez Recognized as the FCPS 2021 Region 3 Outstanding Secondary New Teacher

Congratulations to Learning Disabilities Teacher Angela Perez who was recognized as the FCPS 2021 Region 3 Outstanding Secondary New Teacher and one of the six finalists for the FCPS Outstanding Secondary New Teacher at this year's FCPS Honors event, held at Jiffy Lube Live on June 9th.
Angela approaches teaching with a tenacious drive for equity and inclusion. She is committed to building relationships with all of her students as individuals and knows that learning often begins after students know she cares and is invested in their success. Angela believes in making the curriculum accessible to all students while maintaining rigor and holding high expectations for learning outcomes. As a committed lifetime learner, she has embraced the challenges of the changing academic environment this year and successfully integrated new technologies and tools to adapt to virtual and hybrid instruction. Angela is devoted to contributing to and developing her collaborative team and consistently seeks opportunities for both collaboration and professional development.
