AVID is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to closing the achievement gap by preparing all students for success in a 4-year college.  Through a curriculum rooted in writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading, AVID prepares students for success in the rigorous courses that they will need to prepare for college.  AVID students are provided binders and other supplies, free of charge, to facilitate organization and self-discipline.  Lastly, a huge component of AVID is promoting a college-going culture, which involves college research and subsequent field trips. 

To offset the cost of these trips for our students, we are humbly requesting a donation to our program.  This donation will benefit students directly by allowing for the purchase of valuable supplies and hands-on learning experiences.
