At Whitman, we support and celebrate our military-connected students and families in several ways.  

We provide a "school buddy", a student who is also military-connected that gives the recently-arrived student a tour, answers questions, and keeps in touch with the new student during the school year.

We sponsor a "Lunch Bunch" which is a group of military-connected students who meet regularly for lunch to talk about school, life, the military, and other topics of interest. This group is sponsored by the Student Services department, and counselors lead the group(s). 

We host a Military Appreciation Banquet in the spring to recognize the contributions of our military-connected students and families. 

We work with the other schools in our pyramid to advertise, market and promote events for military-connected students and their families.
