Parents will have an opportunity to meet with school administrators and learn about the vision of Whitman Middle School.
After School Program Registration for 2020-21SY
The After School Program is beginning virtually this year, with the possibility of an in-person program when students can safely return to the building. For the virtual portion of the program, we may be offering some programming in which Whitman students would participate in activities with students and staff from other FCPS middle schools.

Student Health and Safety Guidance
Consistent with Governor Northam’s phased reopening plan for Virginia schools, and guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) has provided guidance to staff regarding school health practices for students.
Free Meal Program for All FCPS Students
Grab and Go service hours are 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) with both breakfast and lunch being served at the same time. Bus routes for food distribution are operating Monday through Friday beginning at 6:30 a.m. Specific information about meal distribution locations and bus distribution schedules are available.
Parent Technology Help Desk
To support families who are working with their children during distance learning, Fairfax County Public Schools now has a Parent Technology Help Desk. The number is 1-833-921-3277 (833-921-FCPS). It will be answered by staff 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. If the help desk is unable to solve the issue on the phone with the parent or guardian, they will enter a ticket on the parent’s behalf and the request for help will be transferred to the appropriate FCPS team.
